Thanks to your generous support, the Friends of Wolf Creek NFH is able to fund and promote environmental education and community outreach efforts in our region. We are able to offer state-of-the-art classroom resources and outdoor experiences to all interested youth, totally free of charge.





What will my donations be used for?

We are proud to fund programs and procure needed equipment and supplies for the environmental education center. Items such as waders, fishing poles, classroom resources, and field equipment, used for outdoor education and appreciation, have all been purchased thanks to sponsors like you! You've even sponsored Environmental Education workshops, 4-H clubs, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and teacher in-service training, just to name a few! Friends of Wolf Creek NFH are currently sponsoring under-privileged youth to allow them to experience summer conservation camps, where they have access to outdoor recreation activities. The college bound is also benefiting! The Friends Group offers a $1,000 college scholarship to one Russell County senior interested in achieving higher education in natural resources.

Are my donations tax-deductable?

YES! Friends of Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery, Inc. is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation, making all donations tax-deductable.

Does my donation need to be monetary?

No! We are always accepting donations in the form of services, kid prizes, volunteer hours, refreshments, and other materials needed for the multiple programs offered here at the hatchery.

How can I donate?
