This was a very BIG year for the Friends of Wolf Creek. Not only did we support multiple environmental workshops by providing lunch/snacks, but we managed to help support several local kids.

Tyler Flatt is a Biology major at Lindsey Wilson College, located in Columbia, Kentucky. He was the lucky winner of the $1,000 scholarship offered by the Friends in 2008.

The Friends Group was also represented at the National Fisheries Friends Conference held in Washington D.C.

Camp Earl Wallace is a summer camp held for children in grades 4th-6th. This camp promotes and educates children on outdoor recreation.

University of Kentucky hold an Entomology Leadership Program that lasts for 1 week and is available to high school students entering their junior or senior year. During that week, students will learn basics of entomology and surveying the impact of insects.

Suzzanne Conover of Russell Springs, KY was awarded this "scholarship" by the Friends to attend this camp.
