Catch A Rainbow Kid’s Fishing Derby

The 24th  Annual Catch A Rainbow Fishing Derby was a huge success with 1,525 children ages 1-15 registering.  Participants received a bag full of candy, a t-shirt, food and drinks, fished for thousands of nice trout, and all won an outdoor related prize.  Thanks to numerous sponsors, and especially with the help of our partners, this event is FREE to the participants.  For more information on this event, please click here.

Reaching for Rainbows Special Needs Kid's Fishing Derby

This derby is held for children in Russell & Clinton counties with severe physical and/or mental disabilities.  Pre-registration is conducted through the local school districts and is required for attendance.  Our first Reaching for Rainbows derby was held in 2008 with nearly every child catching a fish, and all participants received a medallion and t-shirt.  For more information on this event, please click here.

Catch A Smile Senior Fishing Derby

This derby is held for seniors ages 62 & older.  Pre-registration isn’t necessary, but is encouraged.  Participants that attend this event will be provided lunch, as well as having their name in the drawing for several door prizes.  For more information on this event, please click here.
